On 17 October, after my outing with my friends at orchard, i headed home. My mum called and i decided to tell her about my eye which was blur and misty( those kind of vision which you get after swimming without your goggles). she told me to visit the doctor which i did. Thinking that it was an infection i visited the doctor, when i went in i told her my eyes were blur and misty, after some checks she told me she was referering me to the hospital immediately. As i was about to leave she told me good luck and all the best. I was shocked already at that point of time. I quickly paid up and went home to meet my parents. we went to Alexandra hospital, A&E department which i was quickly served by a nurse, i was real scared, but i started to talk to the nurse, telling him how naggy my mum was bla bla bla.
After he checked me, i seated for around a minute and i cut damn alot of people queues and went in. Met my doctor and did another few test and told us that he would call an eye specialist to come. My eye specialist came and did a check and could not tell, so he said he had to put a few drops of eye lotion which would sting me. YES it did sting, i was told to keep my closed and the process was repeated 2 more times.
He took me to a room where he checked my eyes with a bright light. Asking me to look at all direction and he told me that i had something called a cataract. A Cataractis a clouding that develops in the crysteline lens of the eye or in its envelope, varying in degree from slight to complete opacity and obstructing the passage of light. Cataracts typically progress slowly to cause Vision loss and are potentially blinding if untreated(extract from wikipedia). The light the doctor use to check my eyes was FUCKING PAIN and his hands had the smell of curry. There were 2 options both with a bad side effect.
Option 1: is to live with it, the misty and blur picture which i got. But if the cataract grew i would have to remove it too.
Option 2: is to operate it, removing my lens from my eyes replacing it with an artifical lens, allowing me to look. But because its an artifical lens i would not be able to read a book, i would have near sightness. And i have to operate both my eyes as if i only operate one eye, i would be having dual vision of a same thing. (Imagine i wont be able to have sex without my specs! god damn it).
I would go back in 4 months time and see how.
From what my mother told me, she saw that my cataract was a star shaped like this:
This is not my eye. Maybe is a god sent gift. I may have x-ray eyes or laser shooting eyes or i might be able to see ghost. But i hope to have x-ray eyes so girls beware heheh. By the way i have a sharingan, heheh. Cool eye right? most likely i wont be able to even go pes B now as i cant even shoot a rifle and i have a curved back bone with eczema.
Ps: the doctor really had curry smell on his fingers, coz i think indians use their hands to eat rice and curry or he just had nasi brani, Who knows?
